Hey, Paxum, where is my card?
Seriously... Where is my replacement card? I only get emails that the so called replacement card will be sent to my address but I don't even see it in the cards list in my account weeks after that. Started a ticket. It was closed without an answer. Opened it again - no answer. Not able to reach Ruth. Please explain yourself, Paxum peoples... :helpme:error:disgust
|
Appears I had to apply for the replacement card manually, so sorry for that. Done. I did not know. Today I woke up to find out my Paxum account is closed and that the outstanding balance will be sent to me. Where exactly will it be sent? Actually there were some money on that account but it shows zeros in the email. No email reply so far. No phone support. All agents are busy and I should leave a message to get a call back. Ruth does not answer on Skype... Seriously? Please explain. I want my card and my money. Make some sense out of it, please. :)
|
You can bet that Ruth must be swamped . . . I almost feel embarrased to contact her.
|
Most probably and I am sorry. I can't reach anyone. 24/7 phone support is not answering, either. In the closed account confirmation email it states to contact for further information but nobody is answering. Hope they do. This does not make any sense. :(

million paxum problems
|
Well, this is the first time I actually have a problem with them, really - about this new card and having to figure what to do - then closing the account without explaining. Never had a bad experience with them, except having to accept the time required for them to process external card withdrawal from account or getting back the money from refunds to the card they issued to me. So I wonder what is going on. :Oh crap

it's 2 usd per withdrawal + 1,25 % withdrawal fee PLUS 3 % currency exchange fee/rate ? |

2.5 % seems to low to include currency conversion, for these kind of cards. Especially when domestic withdrawals are 1.5%. Thanks |
PAxum down for maintenance atm.
Was that scheduled ? |

I didnt read it thoroughly, but in the section "charges made in foreign currencies" , it looks like its up to the 'foreign bank' to levy currency conversion charges if they wish. Which obviously they will do, as always. So ATM withdrawal fees in non-US currencies look like $2 + 2.5% + currency conversion fee (an additional 2.75-4% normally). So thats crazy if true. If that is in fact correct, this card is pointless for people using it to withdraw in non-us currenices, and the best way is to withdraw to external card. Fees are $6 + 3% (i think you might lose another 0.25% when your local bank credits you) and you funds go into your bank/credit account within a few hours to a few days. |

As far I understand. |

So as far I understand, while withdrawing, you will gte charged 2 usd + 2,5 % currency conversion, thats all. |

$2 + 2.5% is very good, if that is the case. i remain unconvinced atm tho. |

Stop the off-topic replies, pls. Let's stick to the thread. I have problems with Paxum and I can't open a ticket. Like it was about time... Never had such a problem or such a terrible experience with them before. Awaiting reply. Hope they fix their mistake. :helpme:helpme |

See - fixed it for ya' - no charge! |
No, I can't log in to open a ticket. My account was closed for no obvious reason. Everything with my account is perfectly fine and it got closed. No explanation - just an email stating the account is closed. I have even applied for a card with the fee and I was expecting it. Account closed during the weekend and nobody replies. How cute... :helpme:helpme
