apparently, it's America's fault:
“We have completely adopted the American lifestyle with the inevitable consequences." |
It's the Internet and gaming :2 cents:
My cabinets were full of processed junk and I stuffed my face with twinkies, oreos and all that stuff but was a bean pole because I played sports 24/7 as a kid. |

i took a short break and went to spain for a week, and you can spot the average british tourist instantly: Middle aged, overweight and pale with vague blue tattoos.
Average american tourist: A little bit older (because it costs more for Americans to come here of course), overweight, talking like they're constantly acting. The tourists from other countries don't really have a distinctive thing in common, though i can somehow always tell where someone is from just by looking at them. |
Nonsense.
I've been to America and seen what you guys eat. I had a breakfast over there that would have fed an entire British family for a week. A week dammit. |
"Adult obesity in the United Kingdom almost doubled between 1991 and 2015, from 14% to 26.9%, a 92% increase."

It is certainly true that McDonalds finally figured out why it wasn't doing so well in the UK and is now refurbishing all its restaurants with wider doors so people can get in.

We all eat too much. Our favorite restaurant here locally... The portions are really two meals. We walk in knowing we'll only eat half and take the other half home. |

I like to think of myself as PROFESSIONALLY morbidly obese... :2 cents:
As in, not am I only really good at it, but I am so fat the government gives me lots of money and pays for my lifestyle... |

If you want to eat a lot, and of course good, come to Hungary, and somehow we are not overweight :thumbsup

Starving myself as we speak, just for fun...:)

People do so much hard work today and almost don't walk at they need very little food. It's really easy to cross your calorie intake for 1.000 calories (or more per day). Every 7.000 calories you eat more than you need will result in you getting an extra 1kg of body weight. It's as simple as that.
Limit the calorie intake, choose your food smarter, try to prepare most of your food, have a balanced diet and make that your lifestyle and you'll do just fine. It's really no that hard. I've lost 30 kilos and I'm on ideal BMI for 3 years now without any problems. |

Just don't eat shit and you'll be fine. These are regular (absolutely regular) people at the Russian street:
How many of them are really fat? P.S. It's funny that at first seconds you can see an ad of "mcdonald's" :) In fact all that fast food is made for poor people. If you have a job and earn the money, you will never eat there. In Russia we call them "mac ducks" or a network of free toilets ;) |
