Why the North Korea summit is going off the rails, explained by an expert
"Robert E. Kelly, a professor at South Korea’s Pusan National University, gave a really clear explanation:
It’s all because of South Korean President Moon Jae-in." https://www.vox.com/world/2018/5/21/...summit-bbc-dad |
Serial invader USA asking somebody to de nuke is probably maximum possible humor...i am laughing all day long because Americans honestly expect somebody to give up their anti USIS weapons...

This about Moon's gambit to appease trump creating this nightmare scenario around the summit now. |

Bolton basically said via dog whistle that he wants to denuclearize North Korea so he can change leadership there. North Korea heard that dog whistle and shut down negotiation. Stupid Bolton wants war. He's a huge warhawk |

I have to disagree Bladewire, on the NK part not the Bolton part, I call him Dolton. see above. |

Trump has no idea what he is going. None at all. All of his experience is in the boardroom in a business deals where two people want to come to together to make money. This is completely different. This is four countries (US, SK, NK, and China) all of who want different things - and dozens of other groups and political parties all with their own agendas.
Yet still we don't have an ambassador in South Korea. LOL. |

Of course I read the entire article. I would not have posted it otherwise. I don't fall for the media's doomsday baloney.
you should ask Moon what he's going to do about it, thoughts & prayers, he's the one that played trump so well that it got the US into this mess of a summit. |

You pulled the typical alt right move, don't focus on what happened and attack the perimeters: 1) What happened doesn't matter 2) Media bad 3) Don't believe facts because "media bad" 4) You care so you are A) panicked B) irrational C) partisan D) victim of the evil media |
I'm fine with you voicing your opinion of my view.

Also, the article I posted has plenty of anti-trump in it. I knew that when I started this thread and linked the article. That has nothing to do with the fact the article states verbatim:
"It’s all because of South Korean President Moon Jae-in." And I am also otr here stating that Asians have played trump well, by flattering him, it's the only way, we all know that. He's not a details guy. nevertheless, Moon realized this and as SteveRupe pointed out about plans, Moon was absolutely concerned about trump impeding the peace process. He played the only card he had, flattering trump. |

instead of thanking me for posting a fair and accurate portrayal of the events from a liberal news source, Vox, some here choose to come at me for doing so.
That's fine. |

You come across very anti-American, I haven't been bothered by that up until you began disrespecting my views.

By the end of the year we will be in a nuclear war with both Iran and North Korea. You think Trump put Bolton in there as National Security Adviser because he wants peace?

I doubt anyone except for a few diehard trump loyalists ever believed trump had an actually serious chance at a nobel prize. he's the same guy who bragged at a UN convention about killing people or something to that effect.
Nevertheless, the very liberal prof who laid out the explanation in the article does in fact trace the entire debacle back to Moon playing the only cards he had, flattering trump by claiming he should win a nobel for his part in the nk/sk peace and by overstating Un's willingness to denuke. it was a gambit Moon had no choice but to make, as the article shows. |
s.korea should just tell the USA to go home...lets face it: the USA does not want peace because crony """"""""""""""""""""""""""defense""""""""""""""""" """""""" money flow will be interrupted...for good measure they should also close the US embassy in s.korea...this will set the foundation for real peace talks between people who have an actual interest in peace and not war profits...

I don't believe anything that any "expert" says.
There seems to be an "expert" for every issue. And yet...these "experts" have been advising and shaping foreign AND domestic policy for decades. And their track record is abysmal. |

Out of the top six U.S. foreign aid recipients, five of them were Muslim countries. |
