Is AMP BS or not?

Seems like a pseudo approach to build another pseudo super cool shit.
Anyone's using this:

not sure. But if it's not properly setup, it will cost you a lot in SEO. If you use AMP, make sure you do it the right way.

I have looked into it a bit but I felt you lose far too much with site usability etc. for it to ever be worth it.

If your template supports ads, it's worth it, if you have a problem with it, leave AMP.

On my mainstream sites yes AMP is great. On adult, hell no.

Are you saying your coders / you do use the AMP lib to code pages?

I'm working with a promo guy who is all over the AMP mention all around, I dunno, it sounds like squeezing a lemon's last drop in the era of powerful mobile devices :)

I use it on all my sites. Once you figure out how to properly set it up, it can't hurt to have it.

I have seen thought that AMP really helps more with news/article sites rather than rich media sites. I got more traffic to my Google News enabled sites due to AMP integration. On other sites, the change change was insignificant.
