However, they went of their own free will, sometimes bypassing multiple safeguards, and joined a foreign hostile power. If they were taken hostage by force, they should be rescued and spared. If they went voluntarily, they chose the fate they'll suffer.

If they were captured and forced into marriage, then let them go back home.
