It's Kiev, the Ukraine. The interesting fact that in the USA you can not have an opened bottle in the car. I never understand this. Who cares what I'm doing in my own car which is my private property - a small little house. In Russia I can eat there, have sex or drink anything I want. Course if I'm not sitting on a driver's place.

The funny thing is that when a European guy visits Land of the Free for a first time, will be shocked by the limitations there. This you can't. That you don't. Never do and never try. Something like that :)

And that's your usual mistake. Drinking and driving is actually a crime (you can kill people), but why can't you drink while you are just a passenger? In Europe it's ok and nobody sees any problem with that here. Not in Russia, not in Spain, not in Portugal and not in Italy.

Actually which ones? The only places where I've been allowed to drink beer on the street were New Orleans and Las Vegas. But I don't remember any where I could do it in the car, if the bottle was not packed in a paper bag or it was not poured out into a "doctor pepper" cup (that's my personal invention :)).

P.S. It's not a crime to smoke weed here (you can be fined for that, by a civilian code). It's a crime to sell it or to carry more than 6 grams of weed. In fact, the police don't give a shit about it (I mean the smokers, not the drug dealers of course).
