What's broken, google analytics (realtime), or twitter analytics (realtime)?
Hey everyone,
I've noticed something recently and wonder if anyone else knows anything about this. On twitter I am watching the analytics on certain posts in real time to see the link clicks. I see them increasing in real time.. Then, I check my google analytics realtime which is on my left monitor and it doesn't match up. I got maybe 1 user showing up through google analytics with 22 link clicks showing over on twitter. One of these is definitely not showing an accurate count but I am unsure which it is. With all the recent privacy policy bullshit going on I'm wondering if it's maybe just not showing correctly, anyone have any ideas? |
Are you able to use a 3rd tracker, as a sort of control?

Are your links on Twitter using a Google analytic link like:
You can pass that link through a link shorter. Not sure it will help if it's your Google tag is what's not firing. Have these been accurate in the past? Or have you not looked before? |
Opps, link got messed up, sorry
