Is it wrong to laugh at this?
And if not, why do I feel so guilty? |

Why are non liberals crying about things not being fair when non liberals are the ones in power and non liberals, appointed by Trump, are investigating him? |
That's funny!

Mark brought politics in this thread when he feined remorse for having a laugh at something funny because the original video was "so deathly serious" as liberals clung to "their interpretation" of the video as being an extension of the usual liberal talk talk talk points. |

It's a serious video with a serious message. And people are noticing that the dancing and timing fit well with other music. The original is still a serious video. But who says can't have fun with it? |
It's actually better than the original :1orglaugh

why would it be wrong to laugh at this? The this is america original video is pure entertainment, disguised as something meaningful while it is not (highly pretentious) and another song which is also pure entertainment is edited in.
It didn't make me laugh because i see no 'deeper meaning' or 'taboo' in the original video. To me it's just a pretentious acting bit, mixed with another song. The key in comedy about horrible things, is that these horrible things are real atrocities. For example, when Norm Macdonalds youtube talkshow was still online i laughed my ass off at holocaust and concentration camp jokes. This video is well done, i am surprised the timing of the music fits the video so perfectly which is a pretty great discovery from the creator, but funny? Not really. /comedy lesson from the expert |
