$3.65 for mid-grade is the cheapest I have found close to me.

Try paying european prices. US gas prices are so cheap in comparison.

Those prices are per liter.

So you need to multiply by 3.785 for get the US gallon price in GBP.
Then multiply again by around 1.33 (gbp/usd ex rate) to get the USD price.

The highest is in the Netherlands : £1.48 per liter = $7.45 per US gallon.

Poor old Greece is not far behind at £1.45 per liter = $7.30 per US gallon.
The average salary there is less than 1/2 of the US !
So they are effectively pay 4-5 times more for gas.

I guess tho that the US being so vast, that you guys often cover more miles.
So even tho gas is half the price in the US, your costs are not necessarily 1/2.

Could be interesting to compare the actual average weekly spend between people in the US and in Europe.

I filled up here in Queenstown, New Zealand and just under US$6 a gallon after the conversions.

We don't like using our own natural resources though.....

Literally the day that was announced we got nessages to fill up because fuel would be going up .05/gal the next day. Got the same message a few days ago as well.

Its pretty much Trumps gas price hike.. all those tax cuts go bye bye for most average people. My fuel prices averages around $2.50 at the moment because we have bulk rates but 2 months ago it was $2.30 and even lower prior to that I was getting it in tne $1.90 range every once in a while.

When the price drops even the slightest, the media goes bezerk and says jobs in the gas industry at stake...

I don't even look at the price. 19k on my car and 2 months away from being 3 years old so don't drive enough to care that much.

5 years ago it wasn't that bad but I do remember summer of 2008 or 2009 when it was near $5/gal. That's probably highest I can remember it.

Paid almost $4/gallon last week in south Orange County, but don't feel so bad after seeing what most of Europe is paying.

Bout $4/Gallon plus 4-5 gallons of methanol each refueling. Its a good ole time!
