David as an old man. Any other artist would have probably toned hard rock down a bit, so as not to overwhelm modern audiences. ("Layla" for example)

But not David. If a song was a hard rock song, he would perform it as hard as ever. If it was too much for someone, he did not give a fuck. He liked to rock.
