Yes, I email them directly and work out the pay and type of shoot. I NEVER work with an agent because it's always a bunch of bullshit back and forth and waste of time. It takes 2 seconds to log into an email account...wtf

I've seen so many of these girls begging and crying for money. Would you rather do an easy shoot for $1,000 or not do the shoot because you have an imbecile as an agent?

Some aren’t bright enough to negotiate. They think $10k is reasonable for a video. When I produced four videos, I’d pay to fly them out here, hotel for two nights /three days, meals plus $$$ for the video and photo shoots. They were softcore so paid less but $500 was the average fifteen years ago. I paid a grand for my “best” model and my worst wanted $200. I paid her $500 and while happy, she felt she was taking advantage.

One said $500 plus 25% of the profit. After I stopped laughing, I turned her down. 50% of profit went to my videographer instead of a flat fee. My first video netted him over $4k and he simply drove down from Boston, took her to his condos rooftop pool, videod and photo shot her, filmed her and her boyfriend having sexual (never released) , drove her back and made good money. Flat fee would have been a grand or less.

Big expense was flying them in from California. They stayed with her mother one town over (dirtiest house I’ve ever seen) so no hotel or meals bill. The $200 for his flight was cheaper than room and board.

If there is demand, smart girls have friends video them and market via tubes, forums and web presence. Agents aren’t needed unless they’re dumb and wanting to be the next big pornstar. For every big breasted girl, deep throater or anal queen, fifty are waiting in line and are better.

These days you can do it yourself for a small investment. Time to plan it out and forethought to carry it out, plus brains, is a great start. Unique looks, talent and actions are a winner. If big tit videos are big, and you have them, feature a unique thing so you’ll get attention. Combine niches, too. Do microniche films featuring big tits. You must have delt with some very shady agents/companies. In almost 50 years of shooting models in the UK and USA i have only had one issue with an agent from a reputable company. In California i used TYPE9 models and LADirect, Derek was always very professional and took a great deal of time and trouble to make sure the models turned up ready to work and on time. I was happy to pay his $100+ fee to ensure the models arrived. In this industry models are notorious for flaking, at least in Cali and if you have a location, makeup artist and male talent standing by and a model is a no show it can cost a lot in cancellation fees. In 15 years of shooting in San Diego using agents i had exactly 1 no show. Booking direct i had a no show rate of 30-40%
When shooting for clients i could not afford to have issues as it comes back on me as being unreliable, they don't want to hear excuses, they just want their content :2 cents:

There are a ton of shady agents, they come and go. Anybody who doesn't know that definitely doesn't work in the business. There are a few that are really good, but they don't let just anyone work with their talent.

As for self-booking, you can get some talent that way, but not the best and most stable, usually.

In this day and age make sure you're working with tested pros and be very scrupulous with releases and paperwork.
