What you think of this new ad format?

Never used it. Some programs do not even allow it for certain offers, I have noted.

i blocked this in my browser, i don't want to see anymore this shit.

Do you use them on your sites?

No, not really.

I tried to use it on my tubes with 50k-55k visitors per day. I tried to use AdMaven and I earned less than 1$ for 24h

For 3rd party advertising this is crap.
But to bind your own customer base to your site it does great, as long you don't ping the people too often.

Its effective if used wisely

Very effective, push notifications are one of the most converting traffic sources we do propose to Advertisers.

It helps to bring back the old users to the website and an action to take. I use 'Pushmaze' push notification tool for my site.

It is more effective over other ordinary methods , it keeps in touch with old users and gain new users.
