"People that don't bathe often purchase Harley Davidsons. I prefer people that bathe" - Trump

Bahahaha holy shit! Let's see Vendzilla defend Trump now.
|
Jesus fucking Christ. You must be fucking kidding me.
What the fuck did you people expect? This man has no clue of what he is doing. None what so ever. It's like giving a four year old a twitter account and making him President. #thanksvendzilla |

More hysteria from Crockette. This is not a "threat" to Harley Davidson. It's a fact. Harley customers want to buy American. Sales are down. Trump will encourage more competition in America. What's the problem? :thumbsup |

At the price point, Harley, is asking , they are the only ones who can afford them. There are quite a few, motorcycles out there , which are better, more nimbler, lighter weight and more affordable. The younger guys, are not sold on the Harley myth, they want to keep their faces in the wind, with an affordable alternative:2 cents: ps. Yes, I am a Harley owner :pimp |
If HD needs to file for bankruptcy they can get some pointers from the Liar In Chief

I am not a Democrat. The person I wanted to vote for this time was a Republican. Under Bush, I didn't sit here and question everything little thing he did. I surely supported Bush after 9/11, and also when we went after Iraq. In the past I could see both the good and the bad of any President no matter party they were in. But something changed with both politics and American society when Obama won his first election and became President. Republicans went crazy. This was a difficult period for Americans, the recession was hitting us full force; People were losing their jobs and their houses. Instead of helping at all, it seemed like the Republicans were more interested in criticising everything Obama did. Seriously, they were questioning where Obama was born? This isn't grade school. At the time, Obama fixed us. He fixed our economy. We had seventy-two months of consecutive dropping unemployment. When Trump took office our economy was taking off and unemployment had been dropping FOR YEARS. Trump took office with the economy in the best possible shape. Did Trump fix the VA? Nope. Did he solve the Middle East? Nope. (LOL - Jared went to the Middle East the Palestinians refused to talk to him because of his part in the Jerusalem fisaco.) Did trump fix North Korea? Nope. He pulled back our troops from the border and canceled war games and got nothing in return. Did he fix the problems with Russia? Did he confront Russia about Ukraine? Crimea? Meddling in our election? Nope. Did he fix NAFTA? Nope. TTP? Nope. Did he fix healthcare? Nope. Made that worse. The only thing he did was give big companies a tax break. How is that working? Gee, seems to me like the Stock Market has been loosing ground since the tax breaks - how is that even possible? Mr. trump hasn't accomplished one damn positive thing. |

they just have to close the production in US and keep on with their factories in india and thailand. the big error is that americans think that thailand and india are poor countries - yes the majority is poor but the 10% what are not are spending money like fuck. and these are big countries with MANY people. let HD loose 100 k buyers in USA - the rest of the world will still like it and for indians, thais, chinese and the rest of the asian continent the legend is still alive. imagine 10% of 2,5 billion - how much is that ? and the same will happen with other goods. the buying power of asia is not in a few rich individuals - their buying power is in the mass of people with small money. HD will not be a big deal for US - a few jobs will get lost. but much more are getting lost with MANY other goods. the point is that you can not see that right now because economy is always a look into the past when the numbers are published. wait 2-3 month and than look at the numbers. look at the stock market and look at the inflation rate and look on the value of the dollar what will rise a lot in the coming month. that means that american goods will be even MORE expensive as they are just because of the tariffs while chinese yuan will decrease in value and that makes their goods even cheaper. who lost ? every big US company have warned trump doing this step - every economist did - now it is too late for a turnaround. the world is in the start of a new financial crisis what will be here before this year ends. the biggest losers in that will be the american economy and the citizens there. it won´t be the big international companies who can move every day wherever they want to move. if will be the normal citizens, the farmers and the local stores who can´t move out - this is the tragedy ! |

Even though Harley has a number of factories staying in America, and then motorcycles built overseas are going to overseas countries to avoid the import tax from "made in America". So even though Harley is mostly staying in America , an America first company, Trump wants to bring in foreign competition to compete with their American company on American soil. He's a fucking asshole “Now that Harley-Davidson is moving part of its operation out of the U.S., my Administration is working with other Motor Cycle companies who want to move into the U.S.” Trump tweeted Tuesday. |

Canada says asylum seekers must move back one square. So the last safe country they moved through. Great let’s copy that. You come up through Mexico and seek asylum, you have to back to Mexico and wait. The problem would actually be solved. I get that he made this into a huge problem when it was not a big deal on the grand scale but we could easily solve it and go on. |

I have a friend that recently bought one of the better Yamaha's that you can get, $16k. Can you get a Harley for that? I have no idea, I remember them being quite expensive though, $30s? |
Pretty much everything he says or does is wrong, wrong, wrong in the worst way.

Today the US has offered the EU ALL car tariffs COMPLETELY delayed, if in return the EU does so. In addition one must know that the EU duties on cars from the USA were not particularly high and these are also not the reason why in Europe no US cars are bought. LINK And you have to know that EU customs duties on trucks, buses and construction vehicles have always been FAR below US customs duties. so what he wants now is everything the other way around and he will announce it again as a great victory - such a dumb idiot. |

Yamahas are made in Japan as far as I know. I'm sure Trump's goons are working hard to find the right foreign bike companies to give incentives to come to America and compete with American made Harley's. "America first" is a fucking lie |
trump's a vindictive guy who runs things like a school yard bully tries to.
and H-D should have known better than to poke the vindictive bully. it just added to their difficulties. |

And of course, we are over simplifying things here - illegal immigration is a huge problem for any country. Labeling these poor people as an "infestation" like he did recently is not the answer. |

I misunderstood the Third Country agreement. But we could strike this up with Mexico. The US has weird asylum laws. It is slow and painful. Congress needs foam ctuslly act at some point. It can not just keep pushing it down the road. The idea of not letting people get legal and making it easier to stay here at the same time is also a form of abuse. I totally get that Trump screwed this up. My thought is maybe it is time, the US looked at this and made some real resolutions. |
