Let me get this straight.
-A guy who the police suspect of having a handgun fights off the police
-The suspect then goes for his gun in his pants and is shot and killed by police.

What is the protest about ?
The guy was killed by police reaching for his unlawfully carried concealed weapon ?
That's the basis of the protest ?

According to the protesters ranting and raging, I guess suspects are now not to be questioned and can basically do what they want.
