Anyone Refer A Webmaster And Actually Make $ Off Them?
 

Just wondering if anyone has made serious coin off of a webmaster referral?

A few random days someone made $0.80 for me this period. Congrats to the winners lol.

1000 referfals would have been $800 for the few random days.

Yep, I've made well into 5 figures from referrals.

Random referrals will not yield good results. You need qualified referrals with people you know or people that come to you for advice. You show them some tricks on how to maximize the results and then you get your kickback.

Some worry that this will impact their own affiliate revenue so they don't try this method. That has not been the case for me. Plenty of ways for all to get eyes, affiliate marketing is not zero sum.

back in the day, I use to make some decent money with them on ccbill and I remember doing pretty well with them at lightspeed.

Yeah I don't put serious work into it but it's nice to see that they have made money.

Years ago I did, but as sly said you need to be targeted, or massive numbers.

Yes, for mainstream

We don´t usually work for referrals as our work has always been our own sales on our own site or own content on other sites, however, in the past year, we referred people to Modelcentro ModelCentro: Award-Winning Paid Fan Club Platform & have received decent income in return, only 3 and 4 figure, not enough to retire on lol, but still proves it´s worthwhile promoting to other webmasters and content or site owners. :thumbsup

It's much more common in mainstream, however.

Back in the day I bet a good 20% of my income came from referrals. These days it is little or nothing.

People almost never sign up when I post my refcode in threads where they are asking for such refcodes xD

I've gotten those $200 referall payouts a few times but usually it's only a few cents here and there.

I remember back in the day when ARS paid $20 for every referral, I referred so many newbies to them, most of them probably didn't make any money :)

Define serious? I think there is a good number of people here who earn $X,XXX/month from referrals.
