American healthcare is very good and likely the best in the world, it's just very expensive and walled off by insurance companies..

The time it takes to get an appointment with a doctor in the US coupled with the actual time spent with the doctor leaves a lot to be desired. In the US, healthcare is a business first and foremost. In most other places it's a basic human service. :2 cents:

I'm thankful I have a great doctor. She regularly msgs me and checks in every few months via the hospital online messaging system. Shes even told me that I can send in pics any time if I have any issues or questions, which i think would be weird but cool to know I have that option :1orglaugh
