Dude, if that's you, you need to do some serious working out. You have no body at all. Looks like your ball bag is out of wack too - go get it checked out.

If I had to bet, Booker would be the one I put the most money on with Gillibrand second followed by Bernie, Warren and Biden in no particular order.

WTF happened to Booker?

Back in the day I thought he was a shoe-in for at least a decent run at it. Not anymore - that guy has lost his mind and has zero chance of winning.

I remember when he was normal and I liked what he was about. :(

I'm not sure why, but for some reason she kind of rubs me the wrong way. I can't really put my finger on what it is.

She's rough around the edges.

If she doesn't smooth out she won't run, or won't win, but I'm putting my bets on her that she can do it. If not, plenty of other good candidates :thumbsup

To me he is just moving to the left and pandering to the base. What has he done that makes you think he has lost his mind?

I don't mind the leftward movement - that's totally normal. Back in the mid 2000's I believe he was just a mayor but still very popular on the circuit and he seemed to me like a sane, rational person that should get votes. I'm sure it's mostly theater now as well, but - yuck! I've changed my take on him...

Booker lost his magic. He used to be driven , energizing & cool but something happened to him this last year and he became pacified & submisdive. Maybe he can change again and present himself as a leader but I haven't seen that recently. Maybe something happened in his private life I don't know.

If you are interested, there is a documentary about his 2002 run for Mayor of Newark called Street Fight that is really good. It does a good job of showing the behind the scenes ugliness of many campaigns.

That aside, at this point it is still an eternity in political years away from the Presidential election so who knows if he will even end up running.

Personally, I think the Democrats need to nominate a younger candidate with a lot of energy who can appeal to younger voters. So long as they don't make the mistake of nominating Hillary again (and I kind of think Biden might not be very good for them either), they have a legit shot of beating Trump.

The last time I really saw him was when he went to campaign for Jones in Alabama and he was pretty fired up there. Who knows, maybe he won't even run or, as you say, he has something going on in his life that is causing him issues. If he can't be the energetic, smart Booker who isn't afraid to stand up to people, he won't be any good.

Looks like it's on Netflix - I will take a look, thanks! :thumbsup

Obviously, I would expect Trump not only to be vastly superior at this juncture in time, but also have zero doubts about him beating anyone on that list in a blowout.

You should run. I'd vote for you before anyone on that image!

To me Trump will be in one of two places come 2020. He will either be free and clear of the Mueller investigation and with all that behind him, he will be able to pull back in those who might find their support for him waning. Any incumbent always has the advantage so he will have that as well. However, if the Mueller investigation brings back something bad for him and the Democrats take back the House in November, he could find himself embattled in an ongoing impeachment/legal battle and be in a pretty precarious position where he likely would face at least one legit contender during the primaries.

At this point, I'm not even 100% sure Trump will run in 2020. If he is still under the cloud of Russia and is having the issues he is having now, I won't be shocked if he chooses not to run again.

I would throw Angus Kings name in the hat.

I would also add Montana Governor Steve Bullock.

I won't be shocked if we see a field of 15-20 candidates for the Democrats.
