lumendatabase DMCA takedown request

Hello,

I have a chaturbate affiliate site I created using their API endpoint to get all online cam girls. I also use the embed/iframe feature. I don't store any of the cam girls info like photos, videos, etc.

Today I received a DMCA takedown request from lumendatabase.org.

Basically if the cam user isn't online, the page with the embed iframe is not accessible. I just have a standard message saying the user is not online. However if they are online, the live show appears.

In a situation like this, how would I deal with it? Will this affect my traffic with google? Or will google just remove that one page from their index? I am not sure if I need to respond to this, I mean I can write some custom code to just redirect to a 404 page if they hit the page.

Usually i get an email from CB support asking me to removed that specific page/ model.

Got many DMCA every month and most of them google do not take any action to it.
I conter them all who seems bogus ( Huge problem with those couple months back ).

Good luck :winkwink:

I get this all the time from MFC models, we basically blacklist the model ID from ever appearing on our sites. If the models don't want the traffic, then so be it.

I don't get it! all cam models are looking for traffic(just take a look at models boards) and when you offer them free traffic they get scared and they send you a DMCA request! Am I stupid or they are?

all entries are made in bulk. along with the pages on which video files are recorded (which is illegal) your pages may be located. fill counter dmca and wait 10-14 days :)

Cam models hire companies and those companies throw mud and hope it sticks. All the companies care about is padding their pockets with models cash. So if they can show, look, I sent 15,000 DMCA requests, the cam models feel like at least something is being done. But don't realize that you have 15,000 in your show on Chaturbate because they are on my site in an iframe. In other words, I am giving you that person that is tipping you right now.

Many of them get together and put on their tin hats and go, you know what? If those fucking affiliates weren't taking 20% to 45% of our money they would pay us more! Those affiliates are blood suckers! Lets fuck em!

Yeah.. without us you'd be taking your clothes off for peanuts.

The theives make it difficult for honest business people, not the models. Don't forget that.

You have to act on the DMCA because according to the law you are uploading HTML that provides content (your embed)

All anyone has to do is keep record of the DMCA's sent, then document everytime the model is online showing up on your site, despite multiple DMCA requests, and you're busted.
