What is the best file hosting site?
 

Hi All,

I am a new webmaster, still trying to figure out the best way to monitise my site; I currently use openload.co's pay per download program and they pay $30/10,000 downloads from tier one countries which translates to a couple of cents a day with my current traffic. Someone in the forum mentioned rapidgator to me and after looking at their rates, I can triple and even quadruple what I am currently earning on openload.

With rapidshare the file size matters - the bigger the file, the more I can get paid. I have no idea how this is beneficial to them but $300-$400/10,000 downloads sound pretty good to me. My question for you guys is what is the best file hosting site in terms of payment in your experience? FYI, my site is a tube site so the videos are embeded and can be streamed, I'm not charging people for premium downloads or anything like that.

Why would you upload content to file hosting sites in the first place?

That's what I see other webmasters are doing. As I mentioned, I am new at this so if you have better suggestions, please let me know. From what I can see, I save on hosting fees and get paid per download so it's a win-win.
