So Trump is shutting down the government because Democrats won't make Americans pay for a wall that Trump said Mexico was paying for?

Sounds like another win for Democrats

It's also pure comedy that Trump and Republicans who control the House, Senate and the WH can not produce a budget or pay for his little wall project. Then when they fail, they blame democrats for it..

It simply shows how incompetent they are and that they can't be trusted to govern..

Immigration reform knuckleheads. Yes, the Dems are holding it up / refusing to vote. In another thread you cry babies will complain Trump isn't doing anything. Two Nitwits.

When Republicans refused to vote on Democrat's bills when Obama was in office Republicans said it was Obama's fault because he was a bad leader. Now all of a sudden it's the Democrats fault because they won't vote. Imagine that.

How about this. Democrats will vote for some of Trump's immigration policies when Trump makes good on his promise and shows he got the $30 billion or whatever the wall will cost from Mexico.

Fair enough?

Illegal immigration is down by 80% over the past twenty years.... Why spend billions on a wall to fix a problem that isn't a problem any more?

Very good point. Spite work all the way around and it shouldn't be like that but it is.

I see your point with the wall. Mexico will not pay for the wall and why should they. All their low-life's are crossing the border in to the United States.
Anything Trump attempts to do needs approval. It's not approved, then the liberals laugh and joke.
Dem gets in to office / The repubs turn on the spite work. It's a big circle.

I agree. I wish it would stop, but I can't see it happening any time soon.

Also, Trump needs to learn a lesson in how things work. If he is going to go out there and promise things he knows he can't deliver, he needs to pay a price for that so he won't do it again. Right now he lied, got caught in it, and is trying to blame the Democrats. And he wonders why they don't want to work with him.

In the end, it would be great if the sides could work together and stop attacking each other out of spite. That kind of things starts at the top.

Added to this, Trump can't even get full support from his own party. Republicans have numbers to pass anything they want in the House, but they can't even get a budget for the wall done there because even Republicans think it's a waste.

The Republican party has imploaded and prominent Republicans are leaving the party publicly in droves, that means privately normal everyday Republicans are deflated and confused.

The Republican party fed the far right fringe to get votes and n ou w those radicals have overthrown their party. It's a case of the lunatics running the asylum.

The Dems are pro-illegal immigration, pro-drug trafficking, and pro-human trafficking at the border. -> "Just let all the cartel / gang members in, it'll be fine!"

The Democrats even refused to give DACA amnesty to millions of illegals because the deal would've included funding for the wall.

And they think they have a chance in November with this anti-America platform.

25% of Mexico's population is already in the United States. Why? Because they don't like it there.

And if you don't like it in the United States (let's say you hate Trump), then if you don't become an undocumented immigrant in some other country, you're racist to Mexicans. Because you think you're too good to do what Mexicans do.
