I have 2 of them sitting on my kitchen counter...they've been there for like 2 years. Someone gave them to me as a gift....I was like....nah i'm not sending my dna to google lol

I think it's awesome. All of the criminals who left their DNA behind at crime scenes before DNA was even a thing are now getting busted. Even if they haven't submitted their DNA to 23 and Me, someone in their family has.
That's how they got the "Golden State Killer" here locally by me. They ran his DNA through some database, and came up with one of his relatives. They looked at their family tree and quickly saw someone who lived in the area, and after a quick investigation they knew they had their man. They pulled his DNA off a cigarette butt or soda can and that was that. I think it's great. Find all of the criminals and lock their asses up. |
