NRA going bankrupt... lol

https://www.rollingstone.com/politic...rouble-706371/

Guess we now know why the NRA was chasing Russian money. Seems all their gun toting supporters of the 2nd amendment don't support them with money.. That's what you get for being anti gun safety organization that lobbys on behalf of gun manufactures to get them more sales not to push gun safety and sportsmanship..

RNA became more interested in pushing sales of Ar15's and AK's then pushing gun safety and competitive/safe shooting.

I find it hard to believe that an organization that attacks American children that survive mass shootings is having financial issues. Not! Fuck them all to hell :321GFY

What a democratic, full of shit nitwit you are.
The shooters are the target schools students themselves. It's there own peer group that perpetrate the schools / University shootings.

Tom, you have to be on drugs.

I remember when the NRA was about gun safety. I kid you not - they used to sell us yellow tinted safety glasses, and shooting gloves. They held classes on firearm safety. This was back in the day when everyone had rifles. Back then, anyone who had a handgun was in law enforcement, was the victim of a violent crime, or fucking odd. Somewhere along the line the NRA became politicized, and started to care less about firearm safety and more about making sure every house had an assault rifle.

Called big money from the gun manufactures once the NRA turned into a political lobbyist group and could buy politicians. I'd say having a spokesman like Charleston Heston went a long way toward politicizing it. He really pushed the "they're taking our guns away" narrative as anti Democrat scare tactics..

Meanwhile it guys like Reagan who banned open carry in Cali, signed the Baker act and banned assault rifles.. but it's always Democrats coming to take their guns..

The NRA USED to be a good organization. If I was any kind of a gun enthusiast, I would not be a member of the NRA.

Can you name me specific reasons why?

The gun makers had to have been big donors and they are mostly in trouble now.

As usual this is being taken for what it isn't. The word bankrupt isn't mentioned anywhere in the article.. This is a court case.. Obviously Cuomo is doing things to harm the NRA financially which is making it hard for them to do business. The filing is a pretext to them seeking financial damage relief...

WTF do you think Deep Financial Trouble, May Be ‘Unable to Exist’ means?

Is there another term for bankrupt in your country?

Again, it's a court case.. If I'm seeking damages I'm going to be in dire straits. "I lost my home, my wife, my dog ran away and I can't afford a bottle of water." I'd be up in the court room looking like a street bum. NY tax payers are soon to be on the hook for millions because of Cuomo's actions.

there are other places to go. they can downgrade and run it out of a house.

lezinterracial 08-04-2018 01:06 AM

Could be true, Difficult to say for sure. Recent lawsuits are getting expensive. Could be a donations gimmick.

One problem I had with the NRA.
I joined for a year back like 93. Constant calls for more money. I could have called and asked them to cut it out, But I didn't know that at the time.

the NRA will get in trouble on the day when USA is changing from banana republic to a real democracy where individuales are respected. where also the victims have rights and not the violators. when americans start to understand their history and start to ask why there are the most killed people in the world and the most people in jail.

but I think before that would happen, NK would rather change to be the new Switzerland.

Just start to teach the kids economy basics and you would see this mountain of lies your country is build on.

What the fuck does that mean? Mountain of lies? I don't give a shit who you support or what governmental philosophy you follow, the US is not built on a "mountain of lies". Your country was licking the Kaiser's asshole for a century after the US was founded and we had to kick the shit out of you twice in one century, once for gassing millions of jews. Then we rebuilt it so you could come on here and criticize us.

Every government has problems and the US has plenty, but we know that, and we take steps to fix things, even if the fringes on both sides behave like retarded children and have to be spanked every one in a while.

well - that you do not understand foreign history is one thing but that you don´t understand how much economy knowledge have to do with your own history (and possibly with MANY other histories) just proves what i said.

you guys get robbed every day and when they tell you it is good for your economy you believe it.
but it is only good for those who REALLY control your country - and this is NOT the POTUS.

you are slaves of you own education and you do not even realize it.
jumping from a mountain does not bring you to the top - even when you seem to believe it.

Gun manufacturers are in financial trouble. Remington not too long ago had to file for bankruptcy protection. Add that with the increased scrutiny of Russian and other foreign monies filling NRA pockets. Also, given the fact NY has banned the NRA, they are feeling the heat, and rightfully so.

It's hard for me to believe they would simply not exist anymore. They very well could be trying to manipulate the public and trying to gain sympathy for their fight with NY.

They need to be replaced with a real gun advocacy group for responsible gun owners. But gun nuts are so brainwashed, the NRA would have them thinking that any other orginization would be some liberal kind of bullshit, created by the jews, with a hidden agenda to ban guns.

Remington largely did that to get out of paying for a lawsuit on their Bushmaster brand.. aka their Assault Rifle division..

I love how people are mocking the NRA on Twitter by offering them thoughts and prays about their situation.
