'Notifications (Chrome)' and exit floaters?
 

Sorry but I don't know that actual terms. But I'm looking to find good solutions to collect e-mails on a landing page. The kind that notices when your cursor is trying to leave the page and it pops up a 'Wait, join our list' floater.

I'm also interested to know what people use to get the Chome popup in the top-left that asks 'would you like to get notifications pushed to you from this site?'

It is called exit popup. Here is an example of free plugin, but codencanyon has hundreds of paid plugins.
