Who has the best price on an SSL certificate?

Who has the best price on an SSL certificate? I see Godaddy has them for $60, but I'm reluctant to buy anything from Godaddy.

Grab me on Skype or ICQ. I'll walk you through getting one free, or get you one cheap through our system if you don't want Let's Encrypt.

I'm not always on GFY to pump up VaCares, but besides the uptime, support and hardware configs, having free SSL was a fabulous perk to their service. I haven't paid for a single SSL and my sites have no issues with google and security. :pimp

Even if you just take up his suggestion to use LetsEncrypt, you'll be happy.

LetsEncrypt is free and solid and fairly easy to add if you are using the CPanel.

We install and automate renewals for Let’s Encrypt certs for our clients at MojoHost.

Let’s Encrypt it's a good option the only reason to not install it is the 90 days life!

There's a way to automate renewal. And nothing really beats free :)

LetsEncrypt.com - free
CloudFlare.com - free

habibjr 08-07-2018 07:07 PM

is there a way to setup auto renewal for wildcard ssl for let encrypt yet?

Brad Mitchell 08-07-2018 07:54 PM

We have auto renewals programmed for Let’s Encrypt certificates but not yet on wildcards. That would require a programmed change to DNS. I think it’s a good idea and certainly possible, so I have suggested this enhancement to our development team.

Cheers,

Brad

Another Mojohost vote. Done quickly and done right.

I buy my certs from ssls.com. I use LetsEncrypt on some domains as well.
