"Card Services" spam calls
 

Anyone else getting robocalls from a company calling themselves something like "Card Services" or "Card Member Services?"

They use neighbor spoofing to make it appear the call is coming from your own area, but if you end up talking to them they are obviously some variety of Asian. Every time that I have clicked through to politely tell them that I am on the Do Not Call list they immediately become vile and abusive.

Me: I'm sorry, but I'm on the Do Not Call list.
Them: You are? Well, who the fuck are you?

I receive "Card Services" calls but it's always from my actual bank. I have not gotten that spam yet. I try my best not to answer numbers that I don't know. I am more likely to answer a toll-free call than a random area code call though, even if it's local.

I recently listed a vehicle for sale online and I have been getting VIN scammed to death. Pretty creative scam really. They send you a message and say "I want to buy your car but we need to run a VIN report 1st." Followed by an affiliate link.
