GFY Community Project ... Would you Join ?
 

Has this ever been done before, everyone on GFY teams up and does a community project.

We all put in our skills to create a unstoppable money making machine.

Would you consider such a thing ?

It would be interesting to hear what you guys have to say.

I'm assuming I'll get a lot of Go Fuck Yourself comments, but this is GFY, it's expected

Yeah sounds interesting... couple of questions:

Who controls the server?

Who owns the domain name?

Who controls the payment accounts? :upsidedow

I suppose everyone votes for these positions and any caught campaigning gets disqualified?

For such an idea to work, I would say a company would need to be created, Server and Domain registered under Company. Each participant would be allocated a set number of shares.

This would have achieved with company meetings etc

Maybe this is the right way to go about it, or maybe I am dead wrong and a terrible way to go about it.

Further input from you guys can help us come to a plausible game plan.

These civilians wouldn't know 'teamwork' if they got gangbanged by a basketball team.

If the community project is to revolve around politics I expect this to be a major success as clearly, GFY has become the no. 1 political "news" source for the whole of the industry. ;)

There used to be things like this all the time. When I first got started hahahahahahaha and some others would have group projects. You would own your own domain and host it yourself, but they would show how to do things and you worked as a group, helping each other out. I had some good results with a few of those.

These days, it could work, but I'm not sure if you will be able to find enough people to get it going.

Seen way too many scams here. Even when the industry was thriving. Now that its in shambles, i'd be stupid to do anything as a group with you starving armchair political activists.
