BREAKING! Trump implicated on 2 felony counts of campaign finance violations

Trump is now an unindicted co-conspirator with the state of New York Southern county district.

Cohen admitted he committed the crimes at the direction of Donald Trump.

Cohen just please to 8 felony counts, 2 of which involve president Trump.

Remember, Cohen taped the conversation of Trump colluding with him, and it's been played on every news channel many times over.

Bladewire 08-21-2018 02:00 PM

Now the New York DA will have to choose whether or not to indict the president with 2 felony counts of campaign finance violations.

Mueller needs to decide if he'll indict the president as well.

Bladewire 08-21-2018 02:21 PM

Cohen said in court today that Trump advised him to bill the Trump corporation for the money he paid to the 2 females.

If the president is indicted for a felony and Congress refuses to impeach, its then the people's responsibility to drag the potus out of office along with the Congress who refused to uphold their Constitutional duty.

I agree.

He's breaking the law by keeping stake in his DC hotel and taking money from foreign nations there while in office.

Agreed. Trump was paying Cohen back for his felony campaign Finance violations after he was POTUS. IMPEACH!

Having just watched the West Virginia rally...you people are a million miles away from where Trump and his base are at. That's why you'll lose. I can only assume that you have a pathological hatred of blue-collar white Americans, and you want them to fail so you can call them white trash.

All of these threads are un-American media-speak. You're all usury addicts.

Dumb European Nazi watches a Trump KKK rally on TV and thinks he's an expert on America.

There you go, KKK.

He explicitly condemned a German Nazi, and affirmed Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. What more do you want?

There's a big distinction between implicated and indicted...and convicted. Let's wait and see what happens because I fully expect this to SOMEHOW be a non-story and forgotten in three days, just like everything else is no matter how egregious.

Remember that Trump is also implicated in the audio recordings that Cohen released. Trump wanted to pay in cash.

They're saying that him implicating Trump today has stoked fears of impeachment in the GOP.

Time will tell but I think Trump and his legacy will be destroyed beyond repair and one or more of his children will go down with him. Trump Jr. might even have to do time.

None of this will make a bit of difference. In fact, if it hurts turnout, it will actually hurt.

None of what, exactly, makes a difference? You mean none of the Cohen frlinies or Manafort frlinies or Trump directing Cohen to commit the felonies?

Trump supporters would love for none of this to matter.

I guess you won't get to live out your fantasy since the President can't be indicted.

You don't want felon criminals indicted. Says a lot about you. The fact you think a criminal POTUS can't be indicted, says even more.

Donald Trump should not assume he's above the law. A sitting president can be indicted | USA Today

You've been drinking too much GOP piss Kool-Aid.

So a guy commits a criminal act to steal the Presidency and once he's President he's untouchable (according to you) and you think that's funny?

Helix 08-22-2018 06:06 AM

He might get fined if they can actually convince a Judge this is a payoff using campaign finances.

For reference - Barack Obama took nearly $2 Million in illegal campaign donations in 2008 and he was fined one of the largest fees for campaign finance violations ever levied against a presidential campaign.

No one went to jail or even discussed impeachment.

i see the Trump bots are already switching to the new narrative... (and as usual blame Obama and/or Clinton).

but let's stick to facts, should we?

https://www.politico.com/story/2013/...-375000-085784

Quote:

The major sticking point for the FEC appeared to be a series of missing 48-hour notices for nearly 1,300 contributions totaling more than $1.8 million — an issue that lawyers familiar with the commission’s work say the FEC takes seriously. The notices must be filed on contributions of $1,000 or more that are received within the 20-day window of Election Day.
"missing 48 hour notices" versus "paying off ex lovers with campaign money to prevent bad press right before the elections"

if you see no moral difference in that, i can't help you

I just haven't jumped to your conclusion that he used campaign finances to payoff anyone. I agree it's a good idea to stick to the facts.

well, that's what Cohen just plead guilty to. And yes, I know that in the plea he did not say the name Trump but said "candidate for federal election". So I admit: it is speculation on my part that this "could" be Trump.

This is effectively what John Edwards was charged with, but not convicted. It won't work on Trump either.
