Lanny Davis doesn't give a shit if his "client" goes to prison...matter of fact Lanny was on all the news channels today saying that Cohen IS going to prison and then stated that Cohen would NOT accept a Presidential pardon if offered. Boy...I'm glad Lanny Davis isn't my attorney. lol

First, I'm not sure that you can "accept" or "decline" a Presidential pardon. It is simply the law of the land when it's decreed. And secondly...well, there is no secondly.

Davis is happy to see Cohen go to jail and happy to have been part of making Trump look bad.
Hillary is happy, Davis is happy, the establishment is happy.

Cohen going to jail without pardon because he turned on Trump all that he can and can not hurt him any more than he has. Whatever he told them is a matter of record now.

Manafort on the other hand could insure Trump is impeached if he talks enough.
So he is staying the course without admissions and letting the prosecution make and prosecute their case and just waiting for the pardon afterwards.

Pretty clear to me.

No pardons will be made until all charges have been tried and sentencing is made. To both folks.

Seems like a story made for TV.

But it does bother me that we have done little to nothing to stop this from repeating. Probably from the lack of public outrage.

Protecting the integrity of elections should be the number one goal here (national security issue) no matter who goes to jail or gets pardoned.
But I can only hope any (either side) with dirty hands gets real prison time.
