The New GMAIL layout - is it just me or is CLASSIC so much better?

Classic is faster, better. New look is laggy.

I like the classic view but the new one is worth a try.

For me it just feels clunky now. The old version was fast and got the job done nicely. This new one seems the lag although I like that they integrated Keep with it.

The new version sucks.

It's "okay". I also cleaned up a few things on Gmail to make it a bit easier and it's been a lot nicer for me.

I think it's just what you are used to.
I changed to the new one as soon as it came out and never looked back.

I logged in to an old Gmail account the other day which was set to classic and it looked horrible to me. So it's just a matter of what you are used to.

I switched back to classic.

The new VR GMail is a trip! Anyone else try it out on Oculus?

I tried the new design during 2 weeks, then I switch back to the good old one. Much faster, muche better :)

classic was better...

The new version takes forever to load. Then when you click out, if you look closely, you are actually closing multiple windows. Redundancy? WHAT is Google actually doing behind the scenes? This is why it takes so long to load, to close, to surf through messages.

Once verything IS loaded then it's fine but that initial minute or so creeps me the fuck out. It's like OK now time to multiply the windows, save the data, forward the data, have bots run through the data....fuck GMail. Seriously.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it......

Keeping the new look for now. Eventually they will phase out the classic.

How do we get it back to classic? I hate this crap

It's under the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.

I'm not crazy about it either, but like all things that change....I'll get used to it.

I've switched all of mine back to Classic.

There's too much wasted space on the new design.

although, you had a choice of which look, so you´re being a wank stain really...

however, no problems here with new look, enjoying it´s faster, easier sorting :thumbsup

I set the display density to "comfortable" and I'm ok with it :)
