Homeless man who gave stranded motorists money denied access to GoFundMe cash by couple he helped
 

This was a pretty big story when it happened. Homeless man gives his last $20 to help out a stranded couple. Big money was raised on GoFundMe for him.

Now this...

In an interview with the Inquirer last week, D'Amico said he controls the money and will start dispensing it when Bobbitt gets a job and stops using drugs.

"Giving him all that money, it's never going to happen. I'll burn it in front of him," he said, adding that giving an "addict" the money would be like "giving him a loaded gun."

Bobbitt questions the couple's motives and fears they may have squandered the money.

"I think it might have been good intentions in the beginning, but with that amount of money, I think it became greed." Bobbitt said.

GoFundMe is investigating whether the money was mismanaged, and said it will work to ensure Bobbitt "receives the help he deserves and that the donors' intentions are honored."

I haven't been following this story but it sure looks like the couple has been spending lavishly.

From not having money to put in your gas tank to Gambling in Vegas, Limo pickups at the airport, $500 helicopter rides.

Now they are attacking his character, calling him a drug addict.

I say so what if he is a drug addict, the people donated that money to him.

This couple may be the biggest douche bags alive atm.

I could see if they decided to start small and, instead of just dropping all the money on him, give it in smaller doses while he gets his life together. Then, when he is more squared away give him the rest, but it sounds like they have been living it up on that money. It's sad.

I'm in and out using quality drugs and constantly smoking weed for like 12 years, my habit is controlled well and I made lots of internet money being modestly drugged xD tell 'em their excuse is bullshit
