Is Fake Health news worse than Fake political news?

Fake news is a tricky category because overly aggressive CLICKBAIT titles can be thrown in that category...

Regardless, news like this https://www.mirror.co.uk/tech/scient...tween-13151184 has got me thinking about the relative impact of HEALTH news versus POLITICAL news.

Big Pharma always desperate to take down their rivals using fake news about the danger of vitamins, cannabis, coconut oil.

You have a point. Vitamins, healthier lifestyles, etc are cheaper than expensive chemotherapy drugs

Yep, they fund research which 'proves' alcohol isn't related to cancer, and that cancers are genetic and not avoidable, fake health like that, as they make an absolute killing when you get cancer.

Another type of research that is often suppressed is the connection between MIND and BODY. Less stress = better health.

The problem is we have made it too easy to make a website. Twenty-five years ago when I first got into web design, it was very difficult. Twenty-five years ago you needed to understand servers, uploading, FTP, HTML, Java (lol), browser compatibility....

Even six or seven years ago Wordpress was difficult....

Now anyone can do it. Instantly. Now the problem is people can make a website and intentionally spread fake news, be it political, medical, or otherwise, or just give out bad advice, so long as they get the clicks.

There is some of that too, though the most worrying is the fake health news which comes from CNN and the rest of the mainstream media, funded by Big Pharma, even being published in medical journals. :2 cents:
