Someone Pardon Paul Manafort

Trump is going to Pardon his ass soon, or after the November elections..

Phoenix 08-28-2018 09:01 PM

That is what everyone is predicting, take the hit, it is pushed through quickly, then Trump just waves his wand and buddy walks and is back in the game.

Mueller knows Trump will pardon. I think that's what his waiting for.

beerptrol 08-28-2018 09:49 PM

He'll wait until after the election in order not to mess up the cuck republicans election. Then the state will charge Manafort

kane 08-28-2018 10:07 PM

Manafort may not think so. There was a story over the last few days saying Manafort reached out to Mueller's team and has been talking about making a deal before his next trial starts.

BaldBastard 08-28-2018 10:23 PM

Charges against Manafort were nothing.. compared to what's being thrown at him in September, this was more of a test case with minimum evidence presented and even then the one juror who spoke out said it was overwhelming evidence and the only juror to holdout basically ignored that evidence.

September case there's 4x that evidence being presented.

"Special counsel Robert Mueller has given lawyers for ex-Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort "well over 1000 proposed exhibits," or pieces of evidence, which prosecutors want to show jurors at Manafort's next federal criminal trial in Washington, D.C., a court filing revealed Thursday."

Yep, this was the "we mean business" trial. Now he has been convicted and will be going to jail. There is no longer a question about that. Manafort now has to decide for himself if he is going to gamble on a Trump pardon or if he has something valuable enough that Mueller will make a deal.

Paul Manafort will rot in jail. He has lots of charges lined up by several states who are all chopping at the bit to prosecute him.. Same will happen to Trump and his corrupt family. Presidential pardons only effect federal charges and convictions. They cant do anything about state level convictions.

Paul Manafort despertly wanted to work a deal, but due to all the state charges he was facing the feds couldnt give him a deal, because several states are waiting for the feds to get done to go after him next..

Btw why is it you want a criminal to be pardoned? You dont care about justice being severed just team politics?

Trump is a criminal himself so of course he will pardon another criminal. But Trump is about to get fucked hard when state of new york comes after him.

And don’t forget Michael Avenatti

I lost confidence early on in Avenatti. Every time he's on TV, he seems a bit too immature, tries too hard to sell his point, and seems borderline narcissistic. He loves to be on TV (and it shows) and to me that's a bad sign in a lawyer.

You don't have to have great showmanship to be a lawyer. Just go on TV, answer the questions you can answer, and leave.

I think he and Stormy are right and they will damage Stupid Trump and win their case, but personally I just don't listen to what he has to say anymore.

I agree. This isn't going to end with Trump walking out of office and enjoying the rest of his life. The moment he is out of office is when the lawsuits and legal issues are going to start flying.

Case in point is the Trump Foundation. It's obvious that crimes have been committed there. They can't go after Trump while he is in office. However, the moment he is out of office they will. You think they will let all of these crimes go unpunished? Hell no. It doesn't work that.

As soon as the elections are over, Muller will indite his son and his son in-law for trying to get info from the Russians. Trump will lose his mind, fire Muller, fire half of the FBI, fire all of the justice department, then pardon everyone. Washington D.C. will then come apart at the seams.

This is a likely scenario. Trump will fire Sessions and therefore Rosenstein and Mueller after the midterms unless there is a huge wave. With the 538 predicted 28 seat gain, it will be tough for him but he takes the hit anyway.

GAMEFINEST 08-30-2018 07:48 PM

Meh, by that time, Trump will be too late

I'm not sure when Mueller will finish up, but I do think that Trump will fire Sessions after the election and will try to replace him with someone who will fire Mueller. That confirmation will be a shit show.

Imagine if it all happened at once. Don Jr and Jared get indicted and Trump fires Sessions. DC would be one hell of a hot mess.

NY state can very well go after trump while he's in office, and they are. The argument is whether or not he can be indicted for federal charges while pospotus, not state charges.

bronco67 08-31-2018 01:28 PM

Trump doesn't need to pardon Manafort because he won't be saying anything. Manafort is fully aware of how Russians take care of rats and would probably prefer sitting in a prison alive than being free and dead.
