Do you shower and shave or shave then shower?

I have always showered then had a shave afterwards however, today some woman suggested I should have a shave first and then shower.

I tried to educate her on how weird this was but she didn't get it.

Made me wonder, am I weird?

Do you shower then shave or shave then shower?

OneHungLo 09-13-2018 01:53 PM

I always shave in the shower.

pimpmaster9000 09-13-2018 01:54 PM

I use an electric razor and it seems to work better on dry skin...

CurrentlySober 09-13-2018 01:56 PM

Neither.

CaptainHowdy 09-13-2018 01:56 PM

I shave my pubes first, then I hit the shower . . .

Yeah, electric and water don't tend to mix. Except for kettles.
I only once had an electric razor and it kept grabbing my skin.

Yeah i also shave in the shower. Shampoo my hair and leave it on whilst i wash myself. Then i have actually started brushing my teeth in the shower with the warm water ( dont know whether others do this but honestly makes teeth feel cleaner than with cold water.). Use some mouthwash then have a shave, back under the water to wash the foam off. Thats me done for the year

I just feel with my fingers that its smooth rather than use a mirror tbh. I also always dab the area i shave dry with the towel. Never rub it as it can mess with the sensitivity of your skin post shave

poncabare 09-13-2018 02:47 PM

shave before

crockett 09-13-2018 03:57 PM

Ah no I have something in common with onehunglow... I shave in the shower then touch up if I need to in the mirror.

I have a really good one from braun its like 400$...much more convenient than a razor because it takes the same time or less and I can shave like 20x on one charge...work out what you give in a year for foam and razors...the blade on mine or foil has to be replaced once per year but its like 30$...go for the best one you can find imo...no cuts no ingrown hairs no dry skin no irritations...the skin gets used to the machine shaving in like one month...with a good machine its much faster...

RyuLion 09-13-2018 04:38 PM

I shower first so its easier to shave..

Look at me I shave with a $400 razor. haha.. I buy the generic blades that are 5 blades and I get my face shaved just like you but don't waste so much money.

oh but you get your "bro" points for spending so much on a thing that just shaves your face.

plz, tell me about your $200 toothbrush next! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Those gilette refils in my country are like 10$ for 4 or 5 i do not remember but I use it in less than a month and a can of 5$ shaving foam lasts me less than 2 months...thats almost 200$ per year plus I have to use after shave I like the 50$ stuff so my yearly cost is easily 400$...my cost per year now is 30$...no rash, no cuts, no irritation, no ingrown hair...just a clean quick shave...but 400$ for a good electric razor...

Yes I do have a 200$ tooth brush with water jet...it is amazing...god damn you can not imagine how clean my teeth feel...best thing ever...

bronco67 09-13-2018 05:21 PM

I spend like $6 for 5 blades and $2 for shaving cream. But if you dry your clean blades after every use you can use the same blade for like a month.

Look Chang 09-13-2018 06:08 PM

Spunky 09-13-2018 06:20 PM

Before as I use an electric shaver

nico-t 09-13-2018 06:27 PM

Handsome guys like me trim the beard before showering, and shave the BALLSACK while showering. That way all the cut hairs that are stuck wash away.
