Storms have to begin and end somewhere. Maybe the reporter was right on that line.
I remember riding my bike down I-15 and it was pouring rain on the shoulder to the north, but the highway was dry. |
Hell, if I had taken several crackpipe hits before a broadcast, I'd brace myself too. Fuck the haters lol

I was going to say that maybe the wind is harder on him because he's wearing baggy clothes compared to the guys in shorts behind him, but that would be too generous. IF you look at his legs, he's clearly pushing himself back and fourth. |

It was exactly on fox today, was watching a weather report which is a bit more like a comedy as the announcer try's to get themselves in the worst case scenario and behind him is people standing still with their phones out taking movies of the surf.
The Weatherman used to be the most douche man on TV, now its got to be one of the most high risk occupations there is, Hollywood style anyways. |
I think the news agencies expected a huge storm and were disappointed. They tried to make it out to be huge but it just wasn't - thankfully. Let's hope the flooding isn't bad also.

"The News" is just a TV show. They report stories that make you want to watch their program so you will watch their paid commercials. Nobody ever said the stories are true.
There is no "True News TV program" |

Looks like the The Weather Channel took the cue from Brian Stelter at CNN and used the same excuses verbatim.

what worries me is that a dear friend and member here lives in an area near the center of those green swirls
really hope (dope af dude even though not a girl) and his awesome wife are ok. we had a MASSIVE storm here today as well. even by Carib standards. trying to maintain balance by doing work shifts of 3 hours on, one hour off with 4 hours for sleep (more than I need but trying to be less neurotic) per 24 but the internet connection here has been spotty as fuck so kinda threw off my new schedule on the first day. lol universe, cut a chica a break also had a (thankfully mild) earthquake here yesterday but my all means, let's keep drilling for the oil and burning that coal :thumbsup |
