Remember the tree that was struck by lightning?
I knew it would come crashing down so I slept in the opposite end of the
house.

This video is deceiving because the tree is way bigger than it look on video.

I'll probably get some FEMA water soon; you know what I mean : go out and scoop up some rain water.

I've got a couple more days though; the eye of the storm is moving at 3 miles per hour and is still 70 miles away.

The storm is now sucking up water from 2 massive great lakes that are 45 miles long.
That will probably be dumped on me and I'll be flooded.

Yikes, glad you made it through the night.

Not as comparable but I've been through a tornado while living in a house with no basement (in the past). Big trees uprooted all around my house, shed was obliterated. The feeling of helplessness is not a good one.

Did that happen to you after working 12 days for a client and he charged back the deposit making your only source of income go -300 dollars?
That's where I'm at today.

I didn't know it until after the fact but the client is a GFY member that is banned.

Actually, I'm counting my good luck.
So far no trees have fallen and killed me and because
I've been fucked by so many people on GFY, I learned how to fix a roof by
working for a roofing guy a few times.

Damn, but then again, the roofing guy had a stroke 3 weeks ago and can barely walk.
