I’ve seen people in bathing suits wearing shorts but nothing is on display. I’d never comment out loud though. I’d look and not stare at her but my dark sunglasses hide my eyes. Maybe I’d look for a bit to see reactions of people.

I didn't get it. What's wrong with some crazy imbecile women in the supermarket who wears a swimming suit (it's not a -40C Russian winter there I believe)? I still didn't get the thing about American kids in the shop. The girls know how ugly the women can be (let's be honest - most of them are fat and ugly as well). But what about boys? If I was a tourist in the USA with a small boy, I'd tell him: "this women is ugly as hell, don't look at her. When we will be at some Russian beach you will see how a normal woman should look like".
