Fox News and MSNBC may be getting headlines for being the two-most-watched networks on basic cable, but CNN held its own in August 2018.

First, it ranked as a top 10 basic cable network in total viewers, during prime time and across the 24-hour day.

Second, CNN defeated MSNBC this past month in adults 25-54. That’s not out of the ordinary across the 24-hour day, but it is out of the ordinary in prime time. However, it happened in August, with CNN averaging 346,000 A25-54 viewers that month vs. MSNBC’s 340,000 A25-54 viewer average. It’s the first time CNN has defeated MSNBC in the prime time demo since Sept. 2017.

CNN has been a joke for a while now. Starting back when they "covered" Anna Nicole Smith's death 24/7 and the subsequent child custody battle for her daughter 24/7 and there was NO other news in the world during that time.

Then they did it again with the Malaysian Airline disappearance. Even President Obama zinged them about that ridiculous coverage during one of the Press dinners.

And now...CNN is just off the rails. All pretense of un-biased news reporting is gone.
Everything is reported as "Democrats are Great!" and ANYBODY remotely associated with the President is either an Evil Genius or a complete fool. Or both. And definitely they are all criminals.

And Syria? Doesn't appear to exist anymore on CNN. The entire Middle East or the war on terror? Gone.

The REAL story that is happening is a Grand Jury has convened for Andrew McCabe and also President Trump is about to bring the hammer down by un-classifying the FISA warrants that were used against his campaign by the Obama Administration to spy on them.

You won't hear that on television. But CNN did at least BURY it in their website a few days ago about the Grand Jury:
