DaFuq? EU passes "LINK TAX"
|
Another EU success story.
|
So far everything seems to only make the internet work like the rest of the world.
Google copied news articles from the past and published them just as they originally appeared and that was deemed ok. Now try doing that with a printing press and you will lose big time with copyright law. It's as if making things digital defeated all copyright laws. Google images just shits all over any concepts of copyright. I view all the full images on google and never go to the originating site. |
It will reduce the thievery and sharing of pirated content...One of better EU decisions....Fuck Youtube and any other tube thieves, big or small :thumbsup
|
Excellent news. :2 cents:
|
it had to happen sooner or later...google and facebook live off of stealing other peoples shit and hiding behind "user generated content"...
|
*sigh*...:2 cents:

You should try it. :2 cents: |
If I can be sued 1.6 million for linking to a site.. so can they. And that happened right in the good old US of A.
|
Great news :thumbsup
But it's still not definitive. Quote:

I wonder if this is going to have any impact on tubes. Yes, they might be located outside of EU, but as long as they are accessible from EU, do they have to comply? They should implement blocking for those that don't comply.
|
the fuckery is real... "good luck" to them to enforce any of that... quite impossible
motherfuckers only care about their sales nothing else in this world lol but yall will suck dicks because of that... piracy gave you more customers than you could ever imagine... do you really think that people who wouldn't spend money on your shit anway are not able to jerk off looking at a piece of leaf that just fell off the tree as well? or literally anyone... you are so fucking stupid |
Will this lead to mass IP blocking?
|
Yea very good news. Because more rules imposed by a dictatorial bureaucracy with unelected officials, who have a great track record of completely destroying societies, economies, countries, democracies, privacy and freedom, is always a good idea right guys?
Stop being so close minded and see the bigger picture, einsteins. This is the 4th reich wanting to control everything and everyone and you're cheering them on. :2 cents: |

The sooner we have a system of "you host it, you're are liable for it" the better. All these big company's show in their profit margins is they have more than enough resources to police their own links and content, self, user uploaded or automated. |

I know right, as if the people of Europe wanted 70 years of peace and prosperity, what they really wanted was the constant war and slaughter to continue. You really are the most frightful halfwit. :1orglaugh |
Quote:
"We want peace! So here's the EU!" I wish it was simplistic and happy like that in reality lol... And you dare to call me the halfwit. |
Holy shit, some complete fucking morons in this thread (the usual suspects)... "link tax" not "material use tax"
You can't even link to a goddamn article? Who the fuck comes up with these fucking ideas? This is the EU taxing "linking" to funnel money to "MSM" because they can't survive any other way.. |

I'm far from depressed but some in this thread are surely a big let down. You have no fucking clue what this law will mean to free speech in the long run and how it will actually strengthen big companies positions and affect small businesses negatively.
BUT the biggest fail with a long shot is by the person claiming EU with its existence removed war and the risk of new to happen. :1orglaugh |
Tim Pool comments the law:
|
Quote:
We removed it, not like it gave us any sales or anything, and requested a refund. Before that you asked for payment for an upgrade to a broken plugin. You should try getting your business accumen in order before you start trying your bullshit business tactics. :2 cents: |

Right. You spout the same hate filled ideology on every subject. You come a very close second to that idiot oppoten in the dogma competition. The EU is not perfect, no method of governance pleases everyone, but you are commenting on a law to protect copyright by talking about “destroying societies, economis, and countrys”. Biased much ? |

I look at things with a pragmatic view. Is the law just and sensible, and will it improve the lives of the citizens. I consider the position, read the law, and then decide what I think. You dont read. You dont calmly consider the facts or the justification for the new law. You just start shouting. Like a toddler having a tantrum. Its pathetic. |
Anyone took the time to watch Tim Pool's view on the article?

Every single thief opposes this with the free speech argument. To them, free speech means they can steal other people's works and use them as their own content. They all believe everything that is published can be shared. This is not against free speech, you can freely express your views as long as you use your own content. It's really simple as that. |

:1orglaugh Free Live Sex Chat - YumYumCams.com You have 1000 blank pages : Free Live Sex Chat - YumYumCams.com - Part 2623 :1orglaugh Don't get your high horse rolling too hard about Mojo. I had to write code in php 5.3 for ispycams because mojo couldn't change the php version per domain. They have to change it server wide so the client is stuck in the past on that server because of his older scripts on different domains. That's a real simple task in Plesk. And then he needed SSL and that was a mess to get done. I just clicked a button on my server for that. |

This and the the other measure voted on in the EU recently could be a boon for those who don't run user-submitted content sites. There's definitely issues that need to be worked out, but unlike SOPA (yes, I know it was for USA, no EU), this may be something that actually can lead to good things. I'm sitting on the sidelines and seeing how this will all play out. |
We can debate that law all we want.... The problem here is that it's the EU that imposes it. This is just an institution, NOT the continent of Europe. NOT any democratically elected government of any nation. NOBODY asked for these maffia fucks to rule us.
In Holland 2/3rd of the people voted AGAINST the so called "EU constitution" in 2005, which overrides national law as the EU pleases. Keep in mind it's not a government nor a country nor a continent. These people have NOTHING to do with us. The result of our vote against their laws? They slapped a new cover and title on it ("The Lisbon Treaty") to disguise it. Then our EU lapdog government still implemented it a while later, when the dus was settled after the referendum to prevent uproar. So despite 2/3rds of the people who voted against it... it is neatly in place in Holland since 2005 as planned. THAT is the EU. Their power reaches beyond democracies and national governments. They don't give a shit about what the people want. They do eveything they want anyway. They're a massive malignant cancer tumor casting their shadow over its member countries, making them sicker and sicker until they die. |

Your plug in is still a piece of shit though. Stupid move on your part with Paypal. It may very well cost you your account. Right, you're the genius and Mojo sucks. Right, right. LOL |

I can't figure out what you want. :helpme Your website looks broken to me. The thumbnails don't even show. The surfer is clicking blindly. Maybe your wordpress theme is broken and that has nothing to do with me or mojo. Get a refund for your theme. |
