A feature every cam site should have
The best way to promote cam girls and their related services is to review individual performers - you may agree or disagree with that statement, but hey, it works for me. But here's the thing - you can't use performer pictures in your reviews without their permission.
Here's a way around this problem. On most cam sites, performers have a profile page, which more often than not, features a gallery of the performer's photos. Cam sites should add a tab to each performers profile page called "Promotional Photos" - performers seeking reviews would be able to add photos to this page with the understanding that doing so provides permission for the photos to be used in reviews. Any webcam service that implements this idea will see a surge in traffic from sponsored reviews - the webmasters win, the performer wins and the webcam service wins. What are your thoughs on this idea? Please share. |
Interesting !!!

actually a good idea :thumbsup

And the day she wants to quit her photo will be spread over an endless amount of sites with no supervision, some sites may still be active others may be on auto pilot. Surely it is not for everyone.

Yo this IS a good idea, and something I've been thinking about for a while now. Some of these individual performers are big enough that they command their own keywords, and the competition is currently not super fierce.
OP - you may want to check out MCProfits. I don't know if they work with many cam models, but the performers signed up with them upload promotional videos and photos, so you know anything on their MCProfits page you have permission to use! |

I'm not quite sure if you're allowed to use anything on their page, but a requirement for being added to MCProfits is that models must have x-amount of FHGs or zip files, so plenty of promotional content for each performer. I was also going to suggest MCProfits as well. CamWithHer offers some promotional content and video embeds, iFriends / ClickCash provides some promo material for their featured models each month, but outside of that, not very many camming affiliate programs giving out promotional content. |

or just do it the Instagram way.

Good idea.

I am not an attorney, so please do not take the following as legal advice, but ... Legally, you can't copy a whole private show and post it, but why would you not be able to review the performer with a reasonable number of public pics? When a book reviewer reviews a book, they aren't supposed to upload a PDF of the whole thing, but they can absolutely quote small passages for the purpose of illustrating a review. It can't hurt to check with the performer as a courtesy, but I believe the law is on the side of journalists when it comes to reviews. |

Have a strongly worded DMCA page without a lot of text so they actually read it. On there spell it out. We promote you. We are allowed to use your photos per the terms of service on your respective cam host. We are not a tube that steals your content. We send you paying surfers.
We've never had anybody ask to have their martials removed. Some have even offered to send us videos. |
most cam models, 90% of them, do not want their pics spread around the net...they do not see camming as their life goal but rather as temporary profit...
the webmaster of course has different ambitions... as for "Ratings" it is very misleading...ratings are only as good as the people doing the rating...."what you wont shit in the middle of the room for me? heres a negative rating"..."you dont stuff huge dildos up your ass? heres a negative rating"... all "Review" sites suffer from this....people are MUCH more likely to give a bad review than a good one...then the models have to beg others for good reviews...anybody who runs and online business that has a social media presence knows how fucked up reviews really are... |
