Do you clean the lint filter AFTER you dry your laundry?
I always thought this was common practice/decency!
|
Yes, I do as it is the number one cause of home fires.

Ask Juicy D links if it's important cause I think I remember him having a fire cause of this very thing. I could be wrong but his name popped into my head with this thread |
Thanks for the reminder :helpme

I never wash my clothes, so for me, the point is moot...
|
You should take your dryer apart once a year and vacuum out all the lint inside it, that's the real fire hazard. Your clothes will dry faster too.
|
I don't after every load because very little lint means it peels back on itself and into the housing, then gets shoved into the system when returning the catch. But I do after every 2 or 3.

No; I do it before.

My maids do all the cleaning by hand, including the toilet of my body ... :stoned

oddly driers aren't really used in the country i am in currently - kinda funny cost savings / environmental savings on a national level, but obviously not viewed as such
|
It gets cleaned out after every load dried therefore being ready to go for every new load.
