Trump already obstructing FBI investigation
WASHINGTON — The White House is limiting the scope of the FBI’s investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, multiple people briefed on the matter told NBC News.
While the FBI will examine the allegations of Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, the bureau has not been permitted to investigate the claims of Julie Swetnick, who has accused Kavanaugh of engaging in sexual misconduct at parties while he was a student at Georgetown Preparatory School in the 1980s, those people familiar with the investigation told NBC News. A White House official confirmed that Swetnick's claims will not be pursued as part of the reopened background investigation into Kavanaugh. Ford said in Senate testimony Thursday that she was "100 percent" certain that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were both in high school. Ramirez alleged that he exposed himself to her when there were students at Yale. Kavanaugh has staunchly denied allegations from Ford, Ramirez and Swetnick. Instead of investigating Swetnick's claims, the White House counsel’s office has given the FBI a list of witnesses they are permitted to interview, according to several people who discussed the parameters on the condition of anonymity. They characterized the White House instructions as a significant constraint on the FBI investigation and caution that such a limited scope, while not unusual in normal circumstances, may make it difficult to pursue additional leads in a case in which a Supreme Court nominee has been accused of sexual assault. The limited scope seems to be at odds with what some members of the Senate judiciary seemed to expect when they agreed to give the FBI as much as a week to investigate allegations against Kavanaugh, a federal judge who grew up in the Washington DC area and attended an elite all-boys high school before going on to Yale. That is really too bad
here is a picture of KAv when he was going after another "accused" rapist https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_St...,_and_Azar.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_St...,_and_Azar.jpg |
Are we surprised? No we are not.

Dear moron. The Senate limited the scope.. Do you not remember yesterday when they kept saying "Limited scope" over and over again? If they didn't limit the scope then when the FBI discovered who the leakers were there would be charges against congressional staff at the very least..
Also, she filed a xomaint with the PD. It was declined to be investigated because in 1982 the charge would have been a misdemeanor and only had a 1 year statute of limitations. |

Dear alcoholic/rape supporter. Why do you support an authoritarian who meddles in an FBI investigation by telling them who they can and cannot talk to? What country are you from where this seems normal to you? |

Either Blasey or Kavanaugh lied in their testimony.
Kavanaugh was combative, dismissive of questions, and at times totally evasive. He also, with zero evidence, accused democrats of being complicit in a conspiracy to fabricate the charges against him. Regardless of who lied, ask yourself if we can afford to have a supreme court justice who makes claims like this, based purely on partisan politics rather than evidence. Ask yourself if we should have a justice who can't control his temper when questioned. Who throws questions back in the face of U.S. senators. Kavanaugh has already, many times over, proven that he is unfit for this position. |

Who cares what they expected. They expect him to order the FBI around one day and call him a obstructionist the next.. Sound like someone you know? I would have ordered them to investigate EVERYONE including Senate members. They opened the door. I would have walked all up in it. Also an opportunity for him to go after Avenatti.. You can bet if the shoe was on Obama's foot he would have.. |

Of course you would have, you believe in authoritarian rule which is why you're a cultist. But maybe you have a chance. With your court ordered therapy background and your Russian roots I think you stand a wonderful chance of going far in the Republican party. |

I'm reading that trump barred the FBI from investigating anything to do with his testimony re: drinking.
jtfc. come on. |
Senator Flake said on Friday that he thought the FBI should handle the investigation by itself; whether the White House’s blatant interference bothers him, or the four other undecided senators who backed him up, will be an important question in the coming days. And the White House’s tactic may backfire

His political outburst alone disqualifies him, but as long as he's TeamChump it's all good! His little lies also disqualify him, so it's no wonder Chump wants to limit the investigation! |

Repukes are protecting an eratically emotional drunk so he can be annointed a judge on the SCOTUS and protect Trump when the will of the people comes down in him. Bye bye GOP

The President himself has been accused of sexual assault. It's pretty clear he isn't interested in the truth.

Two people remember the last part of party differently. One has a history of getting black out drunk (don’t know the drinking history of the other). Which conflicting story do you believe? I’ll take the person who doesn’t drink to oblivion.
Everyone knows people who got so drunk they denied or didn’t remember what they did. |
Got it so everyone in here who drank too much when they were younger is a.....

If it isn't limited then it turns into another "Russia investigation" where they look at things totally unrelated to the core matter at hand.

In other news, at least 1 person (not Kavanaugh) has been referred to the FBI for making false statements to the committee https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DoTaxS_U0AA16lD.jpg |

I find it incredible that anyone posting in a porn forum would want to see someone like Kavanaugh elevated to the highest court in your country.
Whats Kavanaugh going to do for you? ensure there's a 100,000 extra black babies born that the state needs to look after??? We already know from this administration that as soon as a lawyer represents someone from this industry, their forever referred to as.. "the 3rd rate Pornstar lawyer", that actually has deep long term implications for this industry, having someone like Kavanaugh in the highest court won't resolve that but make it worse. |
