What other breed would remove both ears and their nose from their victim?

Just your everyday normal dog attack...any dog could do this..a pitbull did a thing...right crusifissio? lol

“He lost both of his ears. His nose was partially torn off and his bottom lip was partially torn off,” Omar Sturges, Milton’s nephew, told the news station.

Milton Sturges will now require reconstructive surgery, according to a GoFundMe created to assist with medical expenses.

Officials with the Arlington Police Department are now conducting an investigation into the incident and are searching for the dogs’ owners. Authorities told CBS 11 the male pit bull, which weighed an estimated 80 pounds, was gray with “cropped ears” and “appeared to have chain marks (scars) around [his] neck as if he had been chained up.”

The female, which was brown and also had cropped ears, weighed roughly 55 pounds and “appeared to have previously had a liter(s) of puppies,” authorities said, according to the news station.

Following the attack, both dogs reportedly died after they were taken by local animal control officials. Neither dog was wearing a collar or was microchipped, CBS 11 reported.

Though he’s still recovering, Milton Sturges is now in stable condition and is “talking” and “moving around,” Omar Sturges said.

“I don’t want to see another family go through this simply because they’re not able to find the owner,” the man’s nephew added.

A spokesperson for the Arlington Police Department was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Fox News on Saturday.

Sometimes if they're lucky the dog gets put down but often they get sent to a another shelter in another state and adopted out. Forget about suing them because your average degenerate (^^ see shit head above me) that owns a pit doesn't have shit worth suing for. I go to the dog park about three times a week. Not all pit bulls are bad, but from my experience 99% of the problems caused at the dog park are from pit bulls. One attacked my dog just last week as we were coming in. I yelled at him and he stopped. Then the owner came and got him and they left.

If you brought your sheep herding dog to a farm they would probably try herding those sheep. Same shit applies to pits. They don't belong in dog parks. Most "responsible" pit owners (unicorns) will warn other pit owners to not bring their pits but of course most always do. They're always shocked when their little pibble latches on to your dog and doesn't let go.

There's a certain cultural subset of people that see owning a pitbull as a status symbol that they are a badass and they raise their dog as such.

Note that OneHungLo has stated that minorities are born genetically aggressive & inferior it's no surprise that he tries to correlate a breed of dogs as being genetically aggressive & inferior. See how that works?

yeah, owners of an unregulated breed that is not far removed from fighting pits. I don't think they should be banned outright but kept away from dog parks and some type of license for ownership would just make a bit more sense.

You speak as if you didn't know "pitbull" is a mixed breed dog, not a purebred. There is no " pitbull" purebred dog you can ban. You'd have to ban 10 different purebred combinations that are mated to create a "pitbull", this includes the bulldog breed.

This is where the "genetically programmed to be aggressive" argument falls apart.

You mentioned statistics.

Bite statistics released by the AVMA specifically have this disclaimer:

"In contrast to what has been reported in the news media, the data from this study
CANNOT be used to infer any breed-specific risk for dog bite fatalities (e.g.,

I don't care if you raised your pit in the most loving environment. Pitbulls are unpredictable. The same goes for rottweilers. I owned both. You cannot show aggression around them. It is inadvisable to even tap someone on the arm. I am not saying people should not own them, but I will say that irresponsible people should not own them.

adopted out? Most of those dogs are killed. I have been to a few of them, and there are very few breeds there other than pits. Most of them were un-adoptable and aggressive.

Pitbulls are a mixed breed. There is no predictability in temperament size or looks in a mixed breed.

I have had a pitbull and I know many people who have them...none of them are aggressive to humans and some of them are aggressive to SOME other dogs...the people that own them that I know personally are not "specific" but normal people...
