Interesting, Rasmussen incorrectly picked Clinton to win and were wrong, but now all of a sudden they are correct. Interesting.

They actually picked Clinton to win the popular vote.

do you care if he is your leader or do you just need someone to root for here? What happens in 2 or maybe 6 years from now?

Bladewire 10-04-2018 01:58 PM

Rasmussen polls have a well documented right leaning bias.

Nate Silver gives Rasmussen an average error of 5.8 points and a pro-Republican bias of 3.9 points according to Silver's model.

Media bias fact check

Rasmussen is slightly to moderately conservative in bias. They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor conservative causes.

Matt 26z 10-04-2018 02:17 PM

It burns shitlibs to know that Trump's approval rating has been higher than Obama's at the same points in their presidency.

Plus you have to factor in the media bias was exactly the opposite. 90% of the media were fawning over Obama and he still was at 50%. I bet Trump would be over 60-70% if the media published just a fraction of the good shit he's done.

BTW, fivethirtyeight gives Rasmussen a C rating. The polls they give more weight to has Trump at a 40-42% approval. These are weighted by statistics, not what some neo-nazi wants to believe.

OP said many times that he doesn't believe in polls, as has Trump.

Now they have a well known right leaning fake poll , so they believe in polls again.

The good new is, repukes will be over confident in November and not show up to vote :thumbsup

If that is the case, so were all the other polls that picked her to win. The polls are a popular vote poll, not an electoral college poll. All of the major polls (save for one) had her winning by 2-6 points. Which means they were all correct because they were all within the margin of error.

This is great news! From here on you can't bash the polls that correctly picked her to win.

Robbie 10-04-2018 06:37 PM

You can't trust any of these polls. They only consist of around 1,500 people or so. And people who will actually TAKE a cold call like that have an agenda already.

Polls might have worked 20 years ago. But not now.

Reality is...Trump is probably higher than 50%. But anti-Trump people are such bullys that most people stay quiet about their support of him.

Who wants to be put in the target of all the hate and vitriol from the so-called "left"?

dyna mo 10-04-2018 06:45 PM

reality is who wants to be the target of trump's cruel hate-filled vitriol. I get that cruelty is in part human nature, but trump turns cruelty into a campaign selling point and personality feature.

… Australian steel makers have doubled in value this year.

https://www.google.com.au/search?sa=...w=1229&bih=601

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ore_production

The US accounts for about 0.8 per cent of Australia's steel exports and in total they account for less than 1 per cent of China's exports.

BTW we haven't bankrupted the Government by lowering taxes, they have more money than they know what to do with, we're in the middle of the biggest infrastructure build ever, and the Government has implemented specific policy to contain business/ housing prices not explode them.

I doubt there's a single Aussie that thinks the boom has anything to do with the current Government... Its because we got though the recession ok and now is a boom time around the world.

.. But Trump... yeah what ever.

Job gains for the manufacturing industry in the last 12 months are the most since 1995

Over the past year through July, U.S. manufacturing added 327,000 jobs, the most of any 12-month period since April 1995, when the figure added a healthy 345,000 positions.

U.S. manufacturers produced about $6 trillion in gross output in 2017, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Still, the sector represented 11.6 percent of U.S. GDP in 2017, down from 12.3 percent in 2011 and 28.1 percent in 1953.

You're 100% correct.
He did tell America to give up on those jobs too.
Thanks Obama!

You can bet that CNN didn't like putting this up today.

They buried it down on the front page quite a bit and made the link in small fonts. But even they can't completely ignore it...though of course they won't be giving it 2 minutes of air time on television:

that's odd. on my CNN.com it's the very first story below the fold and it's in a big font, in bold, with 2 headlines, with a picture even.

Yep 1995 was the last good year for manufacturing jobs in the U.S. as NAFTA was kicking in to full effect. And as Ross Perot said at the time: "The giant sucking sound you hear is your jobs going down to Mexico"

Corporate tax rate reduction and removal of Obama-era over-regulation has led to explosive growth.

Just wait until the new USMCA trade agreement is ratified and replaces NAFTA.

Then all of those jobs that Pres. Obama told us were never coming back are really gonna kick into high gear.

Right now the business news is reporting that employers are struggling to find enough workers to fill jobs.

Yes...MAGA is real.
