Great movie. But I have to say...I never saw anything like that when I was in college. I WISH it had been a big party. :)

Same here. I went to a few parties and even the "big" ones weren't all that great. Although I was pretty nerdy so I might not have been invited to the huge ones. :)

Still, I wish I had gotten to go to some big, crazy toga party.

Also, a friend of mine's dad has a tiny part as one of the judges during the trial scene.

Also all those party's on television shows. The ones where they are out in the woods with a big bonfire.
I went to some of those. It was usually 4 or 5 guys drinking beer, smoking pot, and staring at the flames.
But on television...there's loud music blaring, about 100 people partying, and chicks in bikinis all dancing and ready to fuck.

Never saw one of those.

Hmmm, my college days were actually like your television description. Where did you go to school???.... because that sounds like a nightmare.

If there was actual VHS video of him being a rapist or at the very least just being a grade A douchebag participating in the douchiest of douchebachery, Republicans still would have voted yes.

At the end of my junior year I got invited to a big beach bonfire party at a beach about 30 minutes from the college. When we got there it was like 6 guys and 1 girl who was the girlfriend of one of the guys. We hung out for an hour or so to see if anyone showed up, but nobody really did. It was pretty damn lame.

I was in a shared apartment in '83 located in Christchurch NZ one of my housemates was President of the Christchurch University social club, not only did we watch Animal House but lived the life like it was normal

There was a core group of 6 of us, 2 of that group died before 50 from alcohol another went missing in south America, most people from my past are amazed I'm still alive.

There is not one person I remember from those times that I'd invite to my house now, meet them out at a bar is ok but not in my home nor certainly around my wife... ( who I might add is a bigger drinker than me ). 4 drinks and we're back in toga mode.

It was the main reason I was against Kavanaugh, I've lived that uni party life, and these people never changed, nor have I with a few drinks in me ;)

Sounds about right. I was just glad that I squeaked in when the drinking age was still 18. So I was able to go to real parties...they are called nightclubs lol

Not me. By the time I was in college it was 21. My birthday is in June so I wasn't 21 until my senior year so I was stuck with whatever I could get until then.
