Albert Hofmann, a chemist working for Sandoz Pharmaceutical, synthesized1 LSD for the first time in 1938, in Basel, Switzerland, while looking for a blood stimulant. However, its hallucinogenic effects were unknown until 1943 when Hofmann accidentally consumed some LSD. It was later found that an oral dose of as little as 25 micrograms (equal in weight to a few grains of salt) is capable of producing vivid hallucinations.

This is not acid though:

I did quite a bit of acid in my late teens / early 20s. Prior to that I had zero interest in art or business. After many many trips I developed a deep interest in art and how businesses worked. It definitely changed something in my brain. I’ve often thought about doing it again but that’s probably a bad idea lol

You most likely would have developed that interest without it as well. Probably even sooner if you hadn't been busy tripping balls. :winkwink:
