When I was a kid one of the highlights of the year was when the Sears Christmas catalog that was nothing but toys came in the mail.

Strangely enough, In 1989 I bought my first ever computer at Sears.

You're right and I don't like it, they push away smaller businesses and unique hard to find physical stores. I'd rather pay a little more and keep the mixture, even though this development already have been on-going for years. Just look at the effect Mediamarkt have had on the European markets.

They had a 150 year run of being in business, hell of a run. Everything comes to an end...
