Historic Date in Canada October 17, 2018! 420 Legalization!

This is the worst decision ever for the people like me that Smoke for over 20 years!

Starting tomorrow i will have to Quit because now they have the tools to enforce it as a DUI and
that would be Stupid from my part to lose my driver license when i need to be on the road most of the time.

It was a nice ride for 20 years but that just Crazy whats going on and i will not be the one going to challenge this in court :1orglaugh .

:2 cents:

First,

Next,

Just be careful. Smoke but then give yourself plenty of time to get back to normal, or just save it for the weekends when you don't have to drive.

Tomorrow will be a great day!

When I was 20 years old smoking the stuff every day I never thought I would see it become legal. Now I am 40 and don't anymore, it is. Funny.

The DUI stuff is a bit scary in that its so new, and the science behind is is pretty flawed we are going to see a lot of bogus convictions. I read some where that you just have to not smoke for a few hours before driving but who fucking knows what their stupid machines will say. Also something about doing a pulse test, lol. My heart races every time I get pulled over when I've done nothing wrong.

Anyone else here making money from the legalization here in Canada? There seems to be a ton of business happening around legalization.

RedFred 10-17-2018 09:43 AM

Proving a DUI on pot is very difficult. :2 cents:

that was my thought as well. the last I heard they can only test to determine if THC has been in the system within the last 30 days or so.

but it is something I've been wondering about now that recreational pot is legal in Cali, the system needs to come up with ways of drug testing more accurately for employment and such as well.

Just on the stocks. Although there was a big pullback the last couple days...people selling and taking their profits. Still holding waiting and hoping for some big announcements. Would love to see Coke confirm their involvement with Aurora, for example.

also, eye drops make a difference! gets the red out and moisturizes. if you're going to drive stoned, put some eye drops in first.

congratulations to canada for not putting people in jail because they posses vegetation...I hope other countries will follow and stop this insanity that puts people in prison for nothing...

as for DUI this goes without saying...you are free to drink/smoke all you like as long as you do not endanger others with it...get an uber :thumbsup

100% agree.

There's a new update to this: They just announced that anyone previously jailed for pot possession will now be pardoned. #GoCanada!

Yup they was saying that in the news this week , but also investors have pulled back because of the USA Banning anyone from Canada that are in the weed business investor or owner criminal record or not. IT IS A HIGH RISK business i will say.

In the news they say they cannot beat the black market prices because they have to pay 3 taxes. LOL
