Of course we should care. I have been saying for a long time we should cut all ties with the Saudis. This is just another reason to add to the list. That guy was a permanent resident of the US and working for a US company. When journalist and others go overseas to work it is with the understanding that the US government will protect them. If we do nothing, we are basically telling other countries you can kill our people and so long as you have something we want, we won't care.

To have an American president being complicit in the murder coverup of an American(for all intents and purposes) Journalist is way outside the bounds of acceptable behavior by a president. It makes it even worse to know he's compromised by his financial dealings with the Saudi Arabia (as he is with Russia). It doesn't take a world class detective to see what's happening here.

I would go a step further and start carpet bombing.
