Thinking of buying a new laptop, what's your favourite brand and why?

I am a huge fan of the Microsoft Surface line. I have a Surface Pro 4, which is a full PC in a tablet. But Microsoft is making full laptops now.

Like I said, I have a Surface Pro 4 and I love it - I am about to head on the road for the YNOT Cam Awards in Hollywood and I love to travel with my Surface. But if I was go for a full laptop I would go for this. In black.

I like Lenovo

I like Lenovo Yoga and Flex models. Lightweight, fast, reliable.

I personally recommend stolen laptops. Much cheaper in the long run..

They do seem to be making some good products.

My HP has been working ok.

I personally like MSI laptops. The new gens are awesome.
Your all around machine.

I have one Lenovo, two HP and one old Sony and they are all working fine.

They all sucks, tho acer is the one who suck less then other.

Just go to your local starbucks and see which snowflakes are not paying attention while sitting outside. You can usually get a top end apple 'poser pad' quite easily, which at least you can sell for $$$ if you don't like the OS...

Dell XPS 15 series. I had a 9550 for a couple years and just upgraded to the 9570. Don't get the i9 processor. Like the new MacBook it has thermal throttling issues. They are making these laptops so slim now, it's difficult to dissipate all that heat. I absolutely love that laptop though. I use it daily for coding.

Acer, never had any problems with them :thumbsup
