I predicted hillary was out the 2016 race before the race even started, and way before trump entered, that turned into a 3 pager with mostly ridicule and scorn from GFY liberals.

Many independents come from either of the big parties. I voted independent in 2012, actually on your recommendation, for Gary Johnson. In 2016 I went back to democrat - that was in no way a walkaway, I just didn't like the democrat candidate in 2012. Because I have a brain I decide what I do, not any party.

I think it was more the timing. If I remember correctly, you predicted she was out before the primaries ended, and if I recall you supported Sanders.

Clinton won the popular vote, which is meaningless legally but indicates she was a viable candidate. I think the way the DNC treated Sanders supporters turned a lot of them off democrats. They say Sanders supporters who voted for Trump put him over in each of the three states he won by small margins.

Also she tried identity politics, which is not going to work, in hindsight, for any white candidate.
